Junior and Senior Hatters Assistant Director

Training:  Birmingham School of Speech and Drama

Rachel trained as a dancer from the age of three performing in many professional productions before knuckling down to study!

After taking a degree in English & Drama she went on to train at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama. Upon graduating she played all over the UK in a huge variety of productions such as Annie, Oliver!, The Hobbit, Cold Comfort Farm, The Good Companions and Much Ado About Nothing– to name just a few. Her TV and film work includes Jo Brand: Through the Cakehole, Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive, Seekers and Shadowlands.

Rachel has been working in Youth Theatre for the past 19 years and loves bringing her knowledge to a new generation of performers, through a shared love of the power of theatre and performing arts.  In addition to her work at Mad Hatters, she runs her own Film & Video production company which keeps her very busy!

Rachel is thrilled to now be teaching at the established Mad Hatters Theatre School.
