Mad Hatters Assistants:
Sylvia had been involved with Mad Hatters Theatre School from the day it opened! Not only was she a wonderful helping hand and knew everything about the School, but she is also Hollie’s lovely Mother! Sadly Sylvia died in February 2018 and there is now a very large whole in the Mad Hatters Family. Sylvia loved to watch the children grow in confidence when she could attend and enjoyed seeing their talents develop whilst they are at Mad Hatters. She took great pride in both the School and all it stands for. Sylvia loved Mad Hatters Theatre School and will continue to encourage and support all who attend the School, both students and staff alike in spirit.
Katy has been as assistant at Mad Hatters Theatre School for a number of years and both of her two young boys both attend with us. Katy pursues Acting and Performing as a hobby and is Chairperson for Biggleswade Amateur Theatre Society (BATS). Katy loves all aspects of performing, her assistance with Mad Hatters is excellent and her tea making skills are unrivalled. Katy thoroughly enjoys assisting at Mad Hatters and is proud to be part of the team, that she occasionally manages if Hollie is ever away!
Holly is a currently a Senior Hatter and has been training at Mad Hatters Theatre School since Autumn 2013. She is currently studying for GCSE exams and has spent her whole childhood performing either in Dance or Musical Theatre Shows. Holly is a keen Latin and Ballroom Dancer and has played large roles within Mad Hatters Productions including the lead role of Peter Pan in ‘Peter Pan the Musical’ in 2015. Holly loves Mad Hatters therefore assisting at the ‘ Tuesday Mini Hatters’ is the perfect way for Holly to pass on her passion for both the School and performing to the younger generation within the School. Holly is very proud to be involved with Mad Hatters Theatre School both as a student and as an assistant.
Chloe is the older sibling of two of our Mad Hatters and has a keen interest in all things related to the backstage running of shows and theatre. Chloe has recently passed her GCSE’s and is starting her further education studying Art and Set Design. Chloe’s main aim is to be creative within the Theatre Field therefore would like to enter a career in stage make-up and design. Alongside pursuing her career aspirations Chloe is keen to encourage young children into the land of theatre and to believe in themselves, therefore assisting at Mad Hatters ‘Thursday Mini Hatters’ and ‘Friday Junior Hatters’ is enabling her to do this. Chloe is very proud to be involved with Mad Hatters Theatre School.
